About Event

At D&G, our operational teams provide a daily service to our customers, an increasingly complicated task due to regulatory changes. All this activity requires insight and analytical products to help our ops partners support our front-line colleagues to deliver great customer outcomes.

Through this talk you will see how we’re using traditional and new technologies to provide information to stakeholders when and where they need it, plus some cool projects that are embedding data products into our customer interactions!

Meet the Speakers

Sam McCouig - Head of Business Intelligence

I’m Sam, I lead a team that create data and insight solutions used across the business. My focus is on putting the right tools and information in people's hands so they can answer questions, solve problems, and drive better outcomes.

Dan Le Marquand - Head of Trading Analytics

I’m Dan, and I don’t take sensible headshot photos… I also lead the team of analysts who’s task it is to improve our sales funnels, across our Call Centre and Digital channels. We spend our days looking at how to evolve our sales techniques, sharing analytics and building data products to make it easier for customers to buy the cover that they need. For those wondering, sadly my surname does not come with a Chateau in the South of France :(
